چکیده

A cosmological first-order phase transition gravitational wave could provide a novel approach to studying the early Universe. In most cases, acoustic from sound mechanism is dominant. Considering different velocities in symmetric and broken phases, we study velocity effects on spectra shell model. We demonstrate that obviously modify peak frequency amplitude of power spectra. Therefore, taking more realistic might accurate predictions for various experiments.

Sound Shell Model for Acoustic Gravitational Wave Production at a First-Order Phase Transition in the Early Universe.

A model for the acoustic production of gravitational waves at a first-order phase transition is presented. The source of gravitational radiation is the sound waves generated by the explosive growth of bubbles of the stable phase. The model assumes that the sound waves are linear and that their power spectrum is determined by the characteristic form of the sound shell around the expanding bubble...

Shell Effects in the First Sound Velocity of an Ultracold Fermi Gas

We investigate the first sound of a normal dilute and ultracold two-component Fermi gas in a harmonic microtube, i.e. a cylinder with harmonic transverse radial confinement in the length-scale of microns. We show that the velocity of the sound that propagates along the axial direction strongly depends on the dimensionality of the system. In particular, we predict that the first-sound velocity d...

Gravitational waves from the sound of a first order phase transition.

We report on the first three-dimensional numerical simulations of first-order phase transitions in the early Universe to include the cosmic fluid as well as the scalar field order parameter. We calculate the gravitational wave (GW) spectrum resulting from the nucleation, expansion, and collision of bubbles of the low-temperature phase, for phase transition strengths and bubble wall velocities c...

Shape of the acoustic gravitational wave power spectrum from a first order phase transition

We present results from large-scale numerical simulations of a first order thermal phase transition in the early Universe, in order to explore the shape of the acoustic gravitational wave and the velocity power spectra. We compare the results with the predictions of the recently proposed sound shell model. For the gravitational wave power spectrum, we find that the predicted k−3 behavior, where...
